with my minor child
I am in receipt of a letter from the above address claiming that my minor child owes money to the addressee or their client. This claim is completely incorrect and a violation of the right of a minor. However, I need to have the following information to further investigate this matter and prove that you and your client are wrong and have violated the law.
First of all I want to know and you must explain clearly, under what provision of law you and your client made an agreement with a minor?
Once I get your satisfactory response I need to have the following documents to process your response:
· To make sure that these documents will remain private, I need to know these documents are protected and will remain protected under American Privacy Act of 1974 (THE PRIVACY ACT [of 1974]), once I send them to you.
· All proofs of the contract that my child made with you and the basis of your claim along with the proof of service or merchandize that were provided or delivered.
· To address this matter properly, whoever making correspondence with my child must identified himself/herself and the correspondence must also be signed, so that I will know whom I am communicating to. Besides, it is needed by my counsel as well.
· I cannot honor any letter of this kind without identity and signature in the future.
· A copy of the proof that your client authorizes you to have this information.
I would be sending any documents/correspondence I have once I receive the above information and provide you any information you need.
I am also forwarding copies of this letter to
1. Fairfax, Virginia Department of Consumer Affairs,
2. Office of the Ohio Consumers' Counsel - 10 West Broad Street, Suite 1800, Columbus, Ohio 43215-3485,
3. My Counsel.
This is a legal document and may be used for legal purposes.
Sincerely,
