Hi all,

I'm pretty new to this forum, but I am really enjoying it here and I am having a blast getting to know people.

I thought it would be cool if we could share a bit about ourselves, not necessarily about our debt problems, but more about kids and family and such.

I'll start! I have 2 kids, Andrew is 3 (very intelligent and outgoing) and Emily just turned 2 (extremely shy!).

We also have 2 pets - a very cool cat named Griffin, who we rescued from my former work (long story there, let me know if you want me to elaborate) and a turtle named Jet.

Share with us, everybody!

~Mary :)

We have one son. Thomas 20 months. He is our miracle baby and the light of our lives. We were married 15 years before having him.

We have two German Shepherd dogs, Bud (8yrs) - my DH's canine partner, Baron (3) - my shepherd, an Akita - Chuck (will be 8 on 2.2), a Chihuahua - Taquita (10) and two cats - Grace Ann (9) and Ivy (6).

No kids...But I have a fiance who is afraid of the stove and can't do laundry..does that count? LOL

I have three pets...Barnie-a dog..she's 14 years old..She's part beagle and part welsh corgie..she has the head and legs of a beagle, and a porkly longhaired body. Bo--a cat, he's about 10 years old. He's got very long hair and is really big..But not fat..Just poofy long and tall. He's convinced he owns the house. And I take care of my cousin's dog, Bell. She's a miniature Chiahuahua...Or a Chia pet as I call her..lol She's about 6 years old.

And when I get married, I'll be step-mommy to a 3 year old Pit Bull named Smoochy. :)

All the pets get along well with the baby then?

The big dogs are outside - they don't mesh well with the cats.

Taquita, our chihuahua, ignored me for three days when we brought T home from the hospital. Wouldn't even take treats! I was always worried about them together, she has always hated anyone under three feet tall. She didn't really like the baby, but she is pretty tolerant. When he started walking they forged a new relationship, he drops food and she eats it! Then he began feeding her, so she is more friendly than ever before!

Hi Mishele,

That's plenty to keep you busy, huh? Especially puppies, they are more work than newborns! At least newborns wear diapers

And thanks about the avatar....I'm all into faeries or fairies, however you want to spell it, and dragons too :)
