Lowaf, here is the contact information of the companies you are looking for.

Premier processing - 816-283-6200 or 877-878-4700

Antilles Ventures - 913-648-7541

Apple Payday Loans
Address:
1010 Concord Ave., Ste 204
Wilmington Delaware 19802
U.S.A.
Phone Number:
800-309-FAST(3278)

Explain your creditors that you are facing some financial difficulties in making the agreed payments. Thus, you are requesting them to lower the monthly pay offs. But you will surely increase it after your financial situation improves in the future. Assure them regular payments from your side. If possible, advance them some money along with your proposal to make your deal stronger. Always make a payment proposal that sounds realistic and you won't default in it in the future. If you miss any of the payments, the repayment might become quite tougher.

Thank you for the replies to my payday loan information. Does anyone know a debt consolidation company that deals with this type of lender?

I closed my bank account yesterday. I had six outstanding payday loans. I am going to go through a consolidation company to get these cleared up. I am more worried about them calling my references than them calling me. (I am a seasoned debt collector...pretty ironic.) Most of the companies operate from outside the US...so following fdcpa really doesn't mean much to them.

I'm also on debt consolidation but luckily they haven't contacted my references. It was something I was worried about in the beginning. Of course, I contacted my creditors when I went on the program. I mentioned not to contact me at work or my references. If they don't follow the fdcpa laws, then you can file a complaint against them. I'm sure some of the creditors my have addresses in the U.S. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me with the company name. I'm going through the same situation right now, so maybe I can help a little. Or do a search with the company name in the forums, you might be able to find more info that way.

The payday loans I have in consolidation only contacted my mother, and she would tell them that if they want info on us, to contact us. Now that they are in consolidation, everyone has been quiet except for United Cash Loans and I think they are going to settle down and keep their mouths shut. I have filed my rebutal to United Cash Loans with the Nevada COnsumer Protection, and beings I had the proof of the phone calls from Mike Tank, United Cash Loans has to take the monthly payment from T&C.

I am so glad I found this site. I thought I was the only person living the payday loan nightmare. For 7 months I walked around literally ill because I was in unspeakable debt. To make a long story short, I had 5 payday loans. I couldn't do it anymore, I closed my account and opened a new one last week. Now my phone rings off the hook..I am getting my thoughts together and preparing to send a letter and $25 to each. My proposal is to pay $50 a month. Not much, maybe, but it's more than nothing. Anyway, the companies I am up against are Interim cash, apple, united cash loans, paycheck now, and the crabbiest..quickpayday. Anyone dealt with any of these? Hopefully someone can tell me what to expect from them. Also, if there's a better way than what I'm going to be doing, I'm all ears. Thank you.

Cash Today Limited has recently changed their name to Interim Cash. They are scamming people by making fraudulent debits in their accounts. The company claims to have a paperless agreement with you. If there is a need to dispute regarding your loan account, you will have tough time in settling the dispute. You have done the right thing by closing your checking account. The companies will call you after not getting their money. Ask Interim Cash to give you an itemized statement of all the payments sent by you. After you have reviewed the details properly, make further arrangements with them.

You will know the nature of all the companies you are dealing with in this forum. Put a search here on each of them and you will be taken to their respective threads. Hopefully, you will get the required knowledge.

Fin,

No you are not alone in this situation. This is a great place to come and discuss and learn regarding payday lenders and other financial issues. I have Quik Payday on my debt consolidation program. They will take payments but don't let them tell you other wise. They also recently been in some legal trouble so I'm not sure how that is going for them right now. I have also filed formal complaints against this company for breaking a cease and desist order. They have kept quiet since then and are taking payments through my debt consolidation company. I am still working on getting this matter settled. You will find support and answers here. Good luck to you!

I also had a loan thru Quickpayday, they are working with my consolidation program, and are not adding any more interest,as a matter of fact, they have emailed my balance to me after each payment. They will be the first one that gets paid off. They have have been playing very nice. The only one that I have had problems with was GECC or Cashdirect I not sure if they use any other name,I have not seen much about them on this forum. They have accepted 4 payments from the consolidation program, but have also sent my account to a collection agency, and the collection agency said that they have not received any of the payments. The collection agency said that they were going to notifly GECC and find out why they have not directed the payments to them,SIMMs is the collection agency. The only other problem company is HSBC,for a credit card, they have taken the payments but,I have to date received letters from two different collection agencies saying that they are collectin for HSBC.

Watch HSBC, they are very tricky. They are one of the cards we consolidated and then they turned it over to collection. T&C is sending the payments and I informed HSBC that if they want their money its either through consolidation or nothing at all and they have accepted the proposal and they have quieted down for now.

TwoKid,

I also have GECC listed with my debt consolidation company. I received two calls this week from this same CA myself. I had to explain over and over that this was placed with T & C and first payment had been made. I also stated not to call me at work regarding the matter. They were actually nice and not threatening at all. GECC has added a lot of unecessary interested and other charges to my account. I am in the process of disputing that with them now. HSBC would not even agree to debt consolidation because my account was too new but I am going to send a check this week to pay this credit card balance off. YEAH!!!

I haven't had any trouble with HSBC or any of the payday loans. Had a little trouble with Premier, but I think they've got with the program now. My absolute nightmare has been Aspire. They are calling 8 times a day. The phone rings and no one answers. The one time I actually did speak to someone they tried to blackmail me by telling me if I don't get the account up to date they won't accept the DM proposal and also that they weren't getting any payments (not true) because the DM company was keeping it for themselves instead of paying them. :? I've got a second job now and hopefully will be able to accelerate payments and get rid of these debts and start to live a little. :D

finsfan my advise is to screen all your calls. Never answer your phone before 9pm. Hopefully you can also screen at work because they will be calling there until you tell them to stop.

I had luck with QuickPayDay by sending them an e-mail requesting that they not call me at work and send all further correspondence in mail. Had to do it by e-mail since I did not have an address. They also thretened to contact my supervisor but never did. Overall there are worse companies to deal with.

QuickPayDay has been sued in several states and in Colorado even had to pay back their clients the interest and fees charged. So they will not want to go too far with someone who demonstrates knowledge of the law. Mostly they use scare tactics to get people to pay without thinking. They will request your new account - do not send it.

Send them in that e-mail a reference to the laws in your state that prohibit them from harrasing you at work and your rights to see something in paper form. They will never send it and will stop the harrasement.
