To whom it may concern:

After having lived thirteen years in the USA and part of them dedicated to planning our future, my wife and I decided in 2003 to move back to our country, the Dominican Republic.

Before we embarked on our return, we did our due diligence with regards to our family finance to determine if we could afford to leave the USA and continue paying our outstanding debts.

Apparently we were going to be able to do so because, not only was I lined up with a job, but there was the promise of one for my wife, in addition to our savings which we knew we could use should the need arise.

In July 2003 we left New York and that was the beginning of our problems. My wife was unable to get a job and the local economical situation deteriorated with a165% currency devaluation and 65% inflation.

Albeit we weren't earning sufficient income to pay our obligations in the USA, we continued paying from our savings which were understandably depleted and therefore we forced to stop making those payments.

Presently, we are not earning enough money to honor even the minimum payments, and we are looking for an agency that can help us in reducing the total amount of our debt. We are looking to consolidate the total amount owed and bring down the monthly installment not exceeding US$500.00 which is the amount we can afford at this moment.

The amount of our debt is approximately US$50,000.00, plus interest. They are mostly from credit card unsecured debts.

I can be reached via email at or at my phone 809-715-**** after 4:00 pm eastern time.

Hi Hamlet and Maria,

I am so sorry to hear your present financial problems. With the help of the consolidation program, you can reduce the minimums paid to your creditors. You will also have a reduced total debt amount after the counselor has negotiate with your credit company.

If you can afford to increase your monthly payment, the total debt will get paid faster. But with the present payment pattern, some of the money will go towards interest alone and it could have been saved. Take a free counseling in this website and have a thorough discussion with the consultant.

Roxette
