anyone know of a company out there that handles pay day loan consolidation of something similar to that.. need help bad i got 2500 in loans outstanding right now...

jmmyshahan, have a look in your PM. I have sent you the information. Talk to your lenders that you are enrolling in a consolidation program. The consultant will negotiate with them for a lower payoff and your repayment process will become easier.

Hopefully, you will be able to come out of this payday loan trap through the program. I will advise you not to take a payday loan in the future as you might have realized its consequences. These are just a temporary solution and if you default, they make the situation even worse.

I am in the same situation that David talks about. I would appreciate any information that is avaiable on the consolidation of payday loans. I have a great job and recently went through a divorce and completed rehab for a gambling addiction. I'm trying to get my life back on track for me and my 3 year old daughter but over $600 of my bi-monthly check is going to payday lenders. Due to the credit mistakes in my past I can't get a normal loan to get out of this mess. any help is appreciated.

Trouble- there are some consolidation companies that do pay day loans. If you register with this site,it's free, you are entitled to free credit counseling. They will discuss this with you. Are your loans internet or store front, and what state are you in? Laws differ from state to state on these loans-some are legal, some not. Although store front ones usually go by state laws, so try to set up payment arrangements with them. If you'll give us more info, we direct you in the right direction. Good Luck- hang in ther-There is hope, we have all been there!..KAren :D

All of my loans are internet. I am located in Louisiana. I will certainly register to the site. I'm open to all advice that I can get at this point.

Can anyone provide me with a sample "typed letter to each of the payday loan companies revoking authorization to continue debiting your bank account, as well as revoking authorization to contact your employer/place of employment, or pursue wage garnishment." I'd like to get started taking control of this nightmare.

I used the form letter provided and the first response that I got back was not good. "Your information is incorrect your state law has nothing to do with this debt, your balance is 660.00 and is past due. Also you cannot revoke wage garnishment I can issue a judgement at anytime." PLEASE HELP!!!
