Well it has been 30 days for Equifax and transunion and I have not recieved any info on my dispute letters. Where do I go from here? How do I get them to clear my credit report now??

How long after the 30 days has it been? If its only been a few days, then you still may hear something. I have disputes going on with them and sometimes it takes a few days outside of the 30 days before I hear anything. If it has been longer than a few days, then you may want to send them in again. Did you send your first ones, certified return receipt?

adelgado2,

If credit bureau fails to respond to your dispute letter within 30 days, send the second letter. Mention the date and return receipt number of the previous letter. You can attach a copy of the first letter too.

Wait for another 30 days. If still no response from them, send them a demand letter asking for removal of the item. According to FCRA, they should remove this since they could not verify it within 60 days.

You can also send copies of these letters to FTC. Seek for legal advice if the third letter also returns void. Keep us posted.
