im curious as to what payday loan companies they're collecting for? I just started debt consolidation for 13 companies and I wanted to know if i was going to get calls from them? can someone please let me know, thanks

I don't think they are in business now, at least not in this name, right? They went through an investigation for bad collection practices. I can remember that they were suspended from collection work prior to the investigation process as well. Now it's been long time, there are no posts in this forum regarding calls from Ellis Crosby. So I think they are not using this name any more.
However, according to the feedbacks from the forum members it seems they have already started business in some other name with same bad manners. You can watch this thread for more info-
