Pre-approved loans do not seem to be reliable. Have they asked for any upfront fee? IMO, you should call Consumer Protection Office of your state and inquire if they are licensed to do business in your state and if they are legit or not. Keep us posted.

It is more than likely an online payday lender from the sounds of it to me. I would suggest to stay away from all payday lenders.

Glad you are not biting at that apple loan comp. I know for a fact that they are a payday company. I am trying to get rid of that worm.

I am dealing with Apple loans right now. It is a payday loan company. I borrowed $400 and so far have paid nearly $1500 back. I have stopped payment and sent them a letter telling them I want the account marked paid in full. Would love to get a refund but right now would settle for paid in full. I have sent them a letter by mail, 6 emails and one fax. They will not respond to me. I think I will send a certified mail next.

Some lenders take awhile to respond and some just choose to ignore our requests. Have you sent the letter via certified mail with return receipt requested? This way you will have proof that they received the letter. Also, it seems that you have overpaid the account so I would check the lending laws in your state via the attorney general's office or the division of financial institutions. Is this an online lender or storefront lender? I've heard of them but I've never dealt with them myself. Feel free to pm if you have any questions. :lol:

I would advise you NOT to get into the payday loan he!! like most of us here has. They are are VERY BAD idea!! They are an online payday loan company.
