If an account has been paid and closed. Can it be removed from your credit report, or does have to remain there for the whole 7 years from the last activity date?

Also with the same account I noticed that the account was opened in 07/02 date reported is 11/04 last payment made was on 06/03 and the date of last activity was on 11/04.

If was paid on 06/03 why was it reported in 11/04. And why was the last activity date on 11/04?

It says paid as agreed 0 blance and 0 past due. And also what are the stars on the calender for the Equifax cr???

I believe that it does have to stay there for the 7 year reporting period no matter what, unless you can talk the creditor into removing it (slim chance of that happening).

If you disagree with the dates of last activity, I would suggest that you contact the company directly and ask them about it, or you can dispute it with the credit bureau.

I'm not sure what the stars are on the Equifax credit report, I still have not received mine from them. Maybe somebody else here will have an answer to that one!

Contact your creditor and ask them to update your account properly. Date of last activity means when you made the last payment towards the account. In this case, the date of last activity and the paid on date should match, right?

Date of last reporting means when your creditor reported the account to the credit bureau. It seems they updated your file lately. You can also dispute the mistakes with reporting dates with credit bureaus.

You may like to call EQ and inquire what the stars represent in your report. Keep us posted.
