Can one change previous debt elimination company

A person has high interest credit card debt, descides to work with a debt eliminating company. The person is not happy with company and would like to use another. Can this be done? Thank you

I would suggest you to ask your question to the counselors. This site offers free counseling, so there is nothing to lose if you avail the consultation, right?

As per I know, you can change the company if you wish. You have to cancel the agreement with the previous one and will sign another contract with the new company. Your creditors will also be notified of this change.

There might be some fees involved for canceling your current contract. I would read through it and see what it says about canceling a contract early.
