I was in a similiar situation and I had to close my bank account and reopen with a different account number. I contact the payday loan companies and explained my situation and most of them were willing to work out payments with me.

tauciersmalls,
I would suggest you contacting your lender first. According to the feedbacks posted in forums, it seems that lenders can help you to solve the problem. They might waive late fees and other financial charges. If your luck favors, you can be offered a payment plan too.
However, if you still find it difficult, you can consolidate your payday loans too. Some forum members have got satisfactory result from consolidation. Keep us posted.

some lenders work with you and some are not willing to work with you. from what i read in the forums it seems like a good idea to consolidate them. that way you will have an affordable monthly payment and also you can have one monthly payent instead of sending money out everywhere. And usualy the counselors that work for the consolidation companies can negotiate good terms with the lenders. Just something to consider

tauciersmalls--we know exactly how you feel! trust me!
As fka22 said though, some lenders will not work with you.I had tried debt consolidation a while back and found that a few of my creditors absolutely REFUSED to accept me on the program. One was MBNA and the other was Dell Financial Services (Dell computers). Because of this is partly why my financial life became more and more screwed up. They ended up going into 'charge off' mode and to collections, heck, everything we had did!!! I am paying MBNA-two accounts, one is almost paid off!- But the Dell accounts are still making me chase my tail. I believe that once I get something in writing from these people and try to get a payment going, I too, will be doing consolidation on a couple of things. But, the point that I was trying to make before I ventured off, is that now the accounts have went to collections, I can consolidate them, when before I couldn't. too bad they couldn't just work with me from the get go, it wouldn't have came to all of this.
