Must I close my account to consolidate payday loans

I am getting very uneasy reading some of the experiences posted here. It seems that even though people are consolidating and paying the companies back, the companies are (1) still trying to debit checking accounts and (2) Calling places of employment. I really don't want to have either happen. I haven't defaulted on any of my payday loans although I will not be able to pay them when my next pay period comes around. I am sending my payment in to T & C on Wednesday but I am still worried.


we dont know what to do or where to turn we have 8 payday loans and we havent defaulted on any of them but we can not pay them this week and we are scared to death of what is going to happen please any advice will help.

I would like to insert one thing here that I think fka hit on. I tried closing out one account by just getting a new account number with my bank because the bank rep said that was all I had to do. I even asked if anyone could try to access my new account number and was told absolutely NOT. Buy that is not true. All old ach's will go through on the new account number as that is how the banks do business. You do have to make sure that your bank knows who cannot access your account. I eventually changed banks to stop the PDL withdrawals but this time around I am checking to make sure if I change my account number if I can make sure no one that is not authorized can access my account.

Omg!!!! Can someone walk me thru this....i have never defaulted on loan but in order to pay bills i keep taking other loans out now im stuck with 4 loans ..my entire pay check goes to pay the ineterrest to extend the loan.....i would have been able to pay it if i wasnt going thru a divorce rigt now...please tell me exactly what happens after i call t&c.....?? Wats the process? i have aclittle baby ...i cant have them garnish wages..can someone please helppppp provide all the info...
