Ashley is right, Bucksnort isn't far from where I am at. When I first seen the name, all I could think about was a deer snorting in the woods. We have alot of funny named towns here in Tennessee. In Mississippi there is a small town named Gun Town. This is not joke, they have a huge gun with a sign that says Welcome to Gun Town.

Kyside - it's a date! I should be down there in June this year, possibly again in November.

However, it's going to be a long trip for you...I'm coming to Harrisonburg...waaaaay up near the top of VA...and you're waaaaaay down by the NC border! You sure you still want to do this? :lol:

And Lorri - you're more than welcome to come, but what a long trip for lunch!

I think Virginia and West Virginia have the market cornered on weird names. Wildcat School Road, Calfpasture River,(and not to be left out) Cowpasture River, Hot Springs (and again, not to be left out) Warm Springs, Sulfur Springs, Big Stone Gap, Fancy Gap, New Market Gap, it's a pretty "gappy" place.
