Can anyone help me? I received a message from Tim Miller at 800-351-8820 x248. He was very nasty. I did not call him back because I just called T&C and told them to call him. When I called the number though they said it was Geneva Roth. Has anyone received a call from him?

I have gotten calls and e-mails from Tim Miller, and they just never answer any of my questions, and have taken monies out of my account, but they ignor that. This is a copy of the lastest e-mail from them.

It is important that you pay the money that you borrowed back on your payday loan that you took out on 11/4/2004 using your place of employments IP address to do the transaction, my client feels you have had ample time to pay them, at this point if restitution in full is not paid by 6pm CST 4/6/06 in the amount of $468.00 the appropriate action will be taken against you to protect Geneva Roth ventures from any further loss.

If necessary I will speak to whoever necessary to find out if you were given consent to use the companies email address to take out this loan

Please contact me as soon as get this email for instructions on how to pay restitution. Stealing is a crime

All,

Please don't get confused from the name tsherriff. I think he did not tried to impose the idea that county sheriff has posted the comment.

Quote:

Section 3-104(2)(b) of the UCC, defines a check as "a draft drawn on a bank and payable on demand." A postdated check, since it is not payable on demand, does not satisfy this demand. Consequently, it has generally been held by most states that the giving of a post-dated check does not constitute a present fraud nor is it within the scope of the bad check laws.

Taken from National Check Fraud Center website.

Again, non-payment of a loan is a civil matter, not a crime. But lending money to a person without license is a crime.

Also check the status of Loan Point with BBB and read the EDUCATIONAL/GENERAL COMMENTS down the page.
