cashtransfercenter will not leave me alone!!!

i hope for all of your sake you have not delt with this company!!! they are one of the many that i assigned to t&c for consolidation and i still get up to 5 harrassing calls a day afetr 2 weeks!!! this collection agent has threatened me and called me so much i finally said do what your going to do!! and then i even called my counselor at t&c and she called him and he still calls me! i just hope they dont try to come after me after they already agreed to going thru t&c...as someone said on an earlier post they were served with wage garnishment after months of payments from t&c!!! :cry: i have about had it...really dont know if anything else i can do....

This is another one of Sonic's companies. Did you send send a letter stating you were revoking the wage assignment, and stating that you were currently dealing with a consolidation company.

Technically they should be dialing up the consolidation company,and not you. You can request that your number be removed from lendors' files, and put your consolidation companies number listed as a contact. Your counselor should be the one dealing with them now. That's what you're paying them for.

Speak with your counselor about what steps to take next. If they've agreed to the payments through the consolidation program, their calls could be considered harassment. Keeping notes of their calls would be helpful if you have to file suit late.

Bankruptcy

I am in the process of declaring bankruptcy. I told the payday company that and gave them my Lawyers number. They told me they were exempt from bankruptcy and I was stil liable to pay them. Does anyone know if thats true?
