I need help

I would fill out the form, but I do not have a phone anymore. I have very serious debt. I currently have a job, but I barely make enough money to pay my rent. I recently received a summons that one of my creditors is suing me for not paying them. I have every intention of paying all my debts, but I just do not have any extra money other than what pays for rent, gas (for a borrowed car), and food. I do not know what I can possibly do, but I definitely do not want to become homeless!! I am ashamed and scared. I owe lots and lots of money. I honestly intend to pay all my debts, but they have grown so incredibly large. I am not even sure I could be able to pay my rent and get to work and eat, if I was to pay each creditor just $1 a month.
Please let me know if you might be able to help me. I have no idea how much I owe in total, but I would guess it may be around $20,000.
(I guess I should admit that instead of dealing with any bills or correspondence I have received, I never responded, because I did not have any money to give even partial payments, plus I was overwhelmed and scared.)
