Washington state Payday loans

Do you live in Washington state or are your lenders there, or both?

Are these store front check cashing/payday loan places, or are they internet lenders?

I live in Washington State and my lenders are here. These are store front lenders. Thankfully I never got sucked into the Internet ones. Based on some of the stories I have read here that would have made things so much worse.

Actually the internet lenders are easier, in my experience to settle with, because they typically do not follow the consumer's state laws, but anywhoz..

Have you checked to verify that they are all licensed in Washington?

How much did they lend you and what was the apr? Where there any additional fees?

Here is the link to the Washington code that regulates check cashers. I would suggest picking your contracts apart with a fine tooth comb, to find any indiscrepancies to your state's laws.

Thank you so much for your help. I just want as much information as possible just in case T&C have any issues with the lenders I went through. They have said there won't be a problem but the more information I have the better I will feel.
