These jerks just called my home and told me that they received our payment Western Union and we need to schedule another payment date. They are consolidated through T&C and T&C are the ones sending them their money. We have never sent them a Western Union, and why would we pay them directly and through T&C? I am getting really tired of the payday loan industry.

Tammy-

As a part of the consolidation program, your creditors should not be contacting your period. They need to contact you through your consolidation program, and direct any questions they may have to your conselor. Have you relayed this message along to your conselor, telling them they've been contacting you. I would advice you to do so, and if they're violating your cease contact letter, they may be in for a complaint that should get processed.

Regards-
Miked

I'm assuming that Tammy was talking about a creditor calling them discussing a western union payment they received that T&C sent, and stating that the payment T&C has made wasn't enough. Also assuming that Tammy is paying more than one creditor, and these payments going out are dividied by whatever amount of lendors your paying back. (ie small amounts like $35-$40).

Perhaps we should even see if the payment in question was sent via WesternUnion. Whatever the case, whatever the result...the lendor shouldn't be calling you period. This should be the primary issue in question.

Regards-
Mike

I have a question, when you guys refer to having the creditors speak with the "counsler"at T&C I'm not sure who you mean. I don't have a specific person working on my account, or at least not that I've been told. Should there be one person I can refer the creditors to? I'm still trying to figure this whole process out. I really appreciate your information.

Celtic,

There really isn't one counselor that you work with or that I worked with. I talked to a couple of gals on a regular basis. I think it really depends on who is free when you call them. They all have access to our notes and are there to help us out. Mikey, as far as I know, T & C doesn't western union payments to the creditors listed in our debt consolidation programs. I was always told they were mailed checks and I have copies of cancelled ones that I filed with complaints against a couple of the pdl companies that I worked with. I'm sorry if I misunderstood the post.

Also, I forgot to add they they accpeted T&C proposal and I have a copy of the proposal. I know for a fact that T&C sends a check and we have never paid them through Western Union. They also called hubby cell phone 4 times within 1 1/2 hours and left hime the same mesage. I am also planning on playing the messgae on his cell phone to T&C.
