After the payment is received by Dollar Financial, get an update from your consolidation company in writing. This will give you records to prove your side of the story.
In some cases, the lenders threaten people hoping that they can recover larger payments from them. Do not get tensed with such calls and also, do not make any wrong moves at these times. Just do your homework and have everything in writing. Nothing can go wrong against you. Besides, let your consultant take care of this matter with the company. You have hired him for the services and he will take care of the matter. Relax and enjoy! :)

I have consolildated with T&C will they give you copies of the proposals? I had to ask for a statement and I thought they automatically sent out statements? Of course I only sent them my second payment and April 21 will be my 3rd payment. I just wish they had an 800 number. DO they have email that we can send emails to instead of calling all the time.

celtic, dollar will eventully go away once they get a payment from t&C, if they do send it to collections, just give the ca the T&C info and check to make sure the CA is licensed in WA, if they are then they will be fairly easy to handle, and if not, ignore them. ALso if Dollar gets to agrressive report them to the WA dept. of financial institutions

Thanks JJ. I really appreciate your advice. I can say being on this website has helped to not get to stressed about these calls. I even know that if it comes to them taking me to court I already have a payment set up thru T&C so they can't say I am not working on paying them off. I don't want to go to court but if I end up there I think they will just look stupid since I am working on payments.

Has anybody had any experience with Electronic Payment Processing. I owed 300.00 and went with T and C. They refuse to work with them and now they say I owe $800.00 after 2 weeks. Does anyone have a fax# or address. They refused to give it to me.

This is so weird. I rec'd a call from T&C today saying pretty much all of my lenders have agreed to work with them. Cash 1 agreed to take payments but also told them they would continue to send ACH thru to my bank account. I'm not to worried about that as there is no money in the account. Unfortunately I can't close it as it is overdrawn at this point. Anyway I am still receiving calls from Dollar Financial, I know it is them because it comes up as "unavailable #" on my cell phone. I finally answered the phone when they called me at 8:45pm. The lady I talked with was actually really nice but she said I am showing that I owe $425. What I can't figure out is that the loan I took out with Loan Mart, aka Dollar Financial, was actually $795. Why are they showing a lesser amount? I told them they need to speak with T&C as I am working on paying them thru T&C. She was open to calling them so that is good. I'm just really confused about the amount owed. Any advice?

celticlass_4,
If possible, I would recommend opening a new bank acct since Cash! has already stated they will continue to attempt to withdraw funds. You don't need to deal with that.
As for the lower balance, have them put it in writing, if that is what they are offering. :)

No kidding, often it seems that they cannot do simple arithmetic. See how they changed the amount with Jessi and added extra $ 60. You never know if they will claim more or not. They have bunch of excuses.

It's good that they will work with your consolidation company. Let your counselor handle them. Keep us posted.
