I told her to go ahead my husband is retired on disablity from the local sheriffs office I would call them to come and get him and she hung up.

That made me laugh! The audacity of some of these collectors. I absolutley hate payday loans. I called my couselor regarding Cash today limited, and she was mortified they hit my husband's account. They instisted they had set up a payment arrangement for me, and she advised me to contact the ag's office in NJ to file a complaint. These places are such shams! Also, Pollyandsay, how's things going? any luck with the letter? Have a wonderful day

I sent one-click a letter of valadation because of a of her harassing phone calls and I have not received a letter or anything. I had a loan with ameriloan and same thing with them I was paying them off and all of a sudden he tells me they are going to arrest me and garnish my wages and I sent them a valadation letter. He actually called my work asking for the personal office and I was working in there we were really short handed and I answered and recognized his voice and he hung up on me.

Raffi,

Check with your state laws regarding payday loans, consumerlaw.org, give a brief description of almost every state's payday lender laws. If they are threatening criminal charges, it might be against the law in your state. Also, check to see if they are even licensed to loan money in your state which also would be a state violation if they are not. Be persistent with these companies and everything will turn out fine for you.

CTC is affiliated with Sonic who will try in every way for a wage assignment. They are not licensed in most states in the US. Send a revocation letter to your payroll informing about CTC so that they don't allow their debit.

I read in one of the links here that Sonic has been banned in CA. Hang in there, I am going to get it for you.
