One of them is going to have to go...If you have a judgement, then that's it..You have to pay the judgement, but not the collection agency as well. You may be able to pay the collection agency though, and get the judgement removed--Someone correct me if I'm wrong..I know a judgement is worse that a collection account..
Is the collection agency showing a balance due?

I do believe that judgment is worse than collection. Judgment stays there for up to 10 years. Who got the judgment? If the creditor sold the account to the collection, then how could they file suit against you? Or the JDB won the judgment. Are you paying them off?

Who won the judgment? You have mentioned that collection and judgment both are there on your credit file. Isn't the original creditor listed there?

He must have never told anyone about it.
My credit report shows the judgement to Citibank, then a Citibank collections listing for the same judgement. Does it make sense at all? If not, I will try to clairfy it some more. Thanks.

Could you please mention the dates of judgment and collections listings? If they hired collection agency to collect the judgment amount, then the collection agency might verify it as accurate. Which collection agency is listed there?
