Drug Ads.

That would be nice wouldn't it! I don't want people to not be able to register and start posting at any time, but some sites have a delayed posting period after registration to prevent spammers from doing such. I've only seen this the last few days but I may have missed it before that.

It's been real bad these last few days..I log in and it says there have been 50 new posts and 48 of them are spammers.

I had 30 posts this morning when I logged in and only 4 were not ads. This is getting irritating. Can the mods do anything about this?

I've noticed it periodically over the past month or so, but this is the worst I've ever seen. Under the list of recent topics, this thread is the only one that's real. This is really ridiculous.

When I logged in it showed 70 posts since I last visited. About 10 were actual threads.

There are probably so many IP addresses involved, and then as soon as one is blocked the spammers start from another. I've wondered if there was a PDL or CA that has gotten peeved at the site, and is doing this on purpose. jmo

Mods can only delete or edits posts on their forms they are listed as moderator on.

For example I am a moderator on Dealing with Collections Agencies and Bankruptcy, Most of the spam is being placed in Consolidation and Settlement and in the pub. I cannot edit or delete on those two forums. Usually when I find spam on a forum I don't have ability to moderate, I send Vikas and email with a link.

WE had a big problem with this last fall and they installed a spam filter which took care of most the problem for a while, but they apparently have a new way to get around it.

As you requested, you can now the moderate the forums "debt consolidation and settlement" as well as the "Pub" section.

The spammers are getting new ways to enter the system. We are trying every bit to put a stop on them through our database. We are sorry for this inconvenience and we thank you for your co-operation.

Wnat to hear of another dumb-fool thing I did! I stumbled across a link called "retail report card" where they give you a $1000 gift card to use to shop with while you rate the service and conditions of a particular store in your area. Before they finalize the registration, you have to select at least one of the participating offers, so I chose a free sample of TriClear because even at 26 my face still looks like a pizza. So I picked that, On April 10 no less, and to this day I am still awaiting both my gift card and my TriClear! And to top it all off, these charlatans are spamming the crap out of my e-mail and it's really pissing me off! I hate it when businesses lie! I e-mailed both these companies wondering when am I going to get what I signed up for. These people are such rip-off artists! They lie to you and kiss your butt, then they spam you and don't hold up their end! Trash!

Ari--Get a cleanser with Benzoyl Peroxide..It's the ONLY thing that helps me..I've inherited skin from hell. The junk with that Salysalic (or whatever) acid is worthless. It makes me WORSE.

Well, I was no smarty-pants for falling for it. It just appealed to my lust for being a shopping-pig and it roped me in hook, line, and sinker.

I'll give that peroxide a try. I'm sick of that salicylic acid stuff too.

The salicylic drys too much, and the prob with that is, your skin thinks that it needs to make more moisture, which causes your pores to clog...grrr

It's also the damn fake hormones I have to take because of my operation when I was 15! They're making me go through adolescence all over again!

Tell me about it! I'm stuck on this medication for the rest of my life. I've heard about people not wanting to grow up, but this is rediculous!

I have bad skin too - no wonder we all get along so well, LOL! I have to agree with Jessi - anything with sal....sali....that stupid acid stuff dries my skin out to no end.

Mine too. My face feels tight as a drum after washing with that substance.

Lately I have just been using that apricot scrub to exfoliate and then a really light moisturizer that has feverfew (helps stop redness) and spf 15. It's working OK for me for now, but most things do work fine for a couple months and then my skin throws a fit and rejects whatever I am putting on it...LOL!

I have that same issue too with products, and also used apricot and other citrus scrubs but I still have the complexion of a 14 year old. I think the only reasonable explanations for it are medication, and stress from work and school. I'm thinking of changing my prescription back to what I used before.

Yep, those meds will NOT help your skin, I'm sure!! Changing back to the previous prescription won't cause a problem for you, I mean healthwise?

Healthwise, the meds serve one purpose. To keep me from ovulating and growing another tumor. I was on orthotricyclen, but switched to yasmin because it has a potassium-regulating element to it that I thought might contol my blood pressure. Now my skin is just scary! Time to change meds again!

I have heard that orthotricyclen is great for skin. I guess it's true! :S

have you girls ever tried plain old vitamin E? I swear by it...I wash my face with noxema and then break open a capsule and spread it on. When I was 13 and had nasty teenage acne my doctor told my mom about it..I've used it ever since and been very happy.

Noxema burns my skin...I'll look like I had a sunburn. Also, Noxema is made with a bit of wax, which can build up. It depends on the type of acne that you have.

I switch to noxema sometimes, but it stops working after a while. I haven't tried vitamin E, maybe I'll go to Target today :D

Noxema does seem to stop working sometimes, doesn't it? In the summer time it seems a little greasy, too, but the vitamin E tones it up nice. Mary, you'd pay a fortune for vitamin E capsules at target...If you have a natural foods store or a vitamin outlet in your area it'd be cheaper there.

What does molasses and beer do for your hair exactly? I've heard wonderful things about mayonnaise in hair. I even had wonderful results from someone spilling eggwhites into my hair during an egg toss at a town fair when I was 11.

Sometimes I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend but I always get tested every 3 months. 3 days ago I got syphilis tested using test kit I ordered from home-bio-test. The result was negative. But these two days I have vaginal discharge and a bump. Could that be syphilis?
