I signed up with a credit help consolidation company trying to get my credit back in order. The company took $683.00 initial payment and never set up agreements to lower my interest and debt. When questioning this they assured me that they had everything under control. Is there anything I can do about getting my money back.

Hi thepates4

You can file a complaint against the credit counseling company at your local attorney general's office as well as the FTC and the BBB.

You must send copies of your proof explaining the problem. Hopefully, the authorities will help you in getting your money back.
