Company/Individual reported: pay day loans

I have a very bad financial situation. My husband is disabled & I am the only one working. To make ends meet, at first I got just a couple small payday loans...now I have several & they are eatting up my paycheck as well as my husband's social security-which barely covers his meds.! We are waiting on a settlement ("only a few more weeks") and we will no longer have problems...but right now I can't even buy meds or groceries-let alone pay any bills because they take all my funds as soon as they hit the bank!!
I need some input! I have no where to turn & my account is now $640 over-drawn because they keep ACHing & I have over-draft protection-so my bank pays them & then charges me $25 each time as well!!
Someone PLEASE HELP!!
These people take advantage of those of us who are desperate & unable to turn anywhere else for help!

I think we all have been in a crunch! I too have gotten myself in that type of situation. Unfortunately, I had to close out my checking account but my bank did allow me to open another one. The PDL kept debiting my account even when I informed them that the account was being closed. Being new to the forum, I've learned that PDL can only lend where they are licensed. So, if you receive monies from a lender that isn't licensed in your state, that's a major violation. Not only that, I've also learned that I've been overcharged on the finance charges for these companies because by law, my state only allows a certain percentage to be charged and the companies are charging WAY over the limit. What state do you live in? Maybe there's someone here that lives there too and can give you some info as well
