If thereis a lawsuit being filed against you and you just can't pay the amount, what letter can you send just stating to go ahead and charge it off?

Hi atlbw

If you can arrange some payments for the credit company that filed the lawsuit against you, the company might be interested in taking back the case. This will save you and them from additional court costs.

It depends upon the company how they will react if you are unable to send anything. In most cases, they will overlook your request and go ahead with the legal procedures. But, you can bring the whole situation under control if you can send a small payment for the time being. Give them the assurance that you will send larger payments after your financial situation improves. This will be much beneficial for you in the long run instead of going through court orders. It's a suggestion from me on which you should definitely give a thought!
