final settlement letter

Numerious calls and letters were made requesting a final settlement letter and as of this date, I have not received the letter. Who do I write to get the letter and have the debit remove from the credit reports.

You must take this matter to the credit bureau and request them to collect the information for you. Show them proof of the letters sent to the company for updating your file.
Once the bureau receives your dispute, they will start the verification process with the concerned company. It might take 30 days to see the effect in your file.
