Allied Called me again today (isreal) he called himself. Telling me I havent paid my debt with them.
Problem is I have, I have the proof on my bank statement. They bought my Sprint PCS Acct and offered me an 80% settlement. I paid them after the first letter I got. I wrote on the check (paid in full) Well they didnt like that very much and sent my check back :evil: So I sent them another check that said (Settlement in full) as per Isreals request, that wasnt good enough either, even though thats exactly what Isreal said I could write, and they sent that one back. I wrote another check out to them and wrote SETTLEMENT on it. Now aparrently this one was ok because they decided to cash it. On my bank statement it says Directv Checkpymt ARC. Weird I thought since my debt was for sprint pcs. Well I got my lovely little call from Isreal today Threatening everything short of homicide, I told him, Im looking at my bank account online as we speak and I can see the payment I made to them, he called me a liar and said he was going to ruin me and hung up. So I called right back because these **** already had my money and were saying they didnt. I got someone else who told me I made a mistake and wrote directv on my check. WHY WOULD I PAY A DEBT TO DIRECTV WHEN IVE NEVER HAD THIS SERVICE??? Now they want me to go out and find a fax machine and fax them my bank statement. I told them I dont have a fax machine and the lady said :twisted: You want this cleared up dont you? Find one! After that I asked to speak to a supervisor and she hung up on me. So I Called back again and asked to speak to a super, got put on hold twice and was then told to call another # with a different area code. WHAT THE HELL KIND OF BUSINESS PRACTICE IS THIS??? Any Suggestions?

Ok...Here's what I'm thinking.

You never had an account with Direct TV...You paid the check on Sprint PCS...So in other words, you paid whatever amount to them, and they do understand that you paid it right? Plus you have the statement. So if they payment was not added onto your Sprint account, then you should have a credit of whatever amount available to apply to the correct account.

Did that gibberish make sense?

It wouldn't hurt also, to get a statement from Direct TV that you never owned an account with them, so why would you pay for them?
