in the year 2000 a vehicle was repossessed, no payments were made until a collection lawyer called several times and I made a 100 dollar payment, did I reset my STATUTES OF LIMITATION??, they are threatening with court, and a letter of notification from the law office states that they are taking me to court, please tell me what actions I should take.
Thanks

taking in consideration the initial post, I would like to add that I have incorporated a company in 2005, can they take any legal actions against my corporation since I am the owner and president?????

Hi Fred

Welcome to the forums.

SOL gets renewed all over after you have made the payment towards your debt account.

It will be better for you if you can pay off your debt through easy arrangements with the collectors. This might restrain them from taking any legal actions against you.

Roxette
