God?!?!?!
Is this for real? A man has filed a law suit against God for hurricanes, loss of life, terrorist acts....
Aren't our court systems jammed up enough without foolish suits like this?
Wow, jsut wow...

Does this man have too much money and time? I can't afford to file suit against illegal companies, let alone GOD. I think we have a very bored individual here.

That guy is a senator, and also a barber and has been a senator for a number of years. He is one of those that doesn't think he needs to wear a suit, that is why you will always see him in a t-shirt.

He is a laughing stock for real issues, well I shouldn't say all issues because sometimes he has really good points. He is from my home state. I used to work for state government and we always hated it when he got involved with some of his political issues. He is a good advocate for the inmate population, almost to the point of ridiculous. He is also kind of prejudice about certain issues obviously, what a nut case. I couldn't believe my eyes when I seen that.

People come up with the most rediculous stuff. Like the woman that sued McDonalds because the coffee burnt her tongue and mouth. Or the people that sue fast food resuraunts for making them fat!!!!

Dang, you know the coffee is hot (wouldn't want it cold) and don't eat at the fast food places!! What is this world coming to???

The lady that sued Mcdonalds for the hot coffee had second and third degree burns over her thighs and private area. It was a little more than her mouth. But I agree you would have been angry if you got your coffee cold. But she won so now Mcdonalds has to tell you that your coffee is hot. What will they come up with next, now that someone is suing God?

I thought it was just her mouth, didn't know that she had gotten burned in those places. I still don't know that it would have been McDonalds fault though. They did not spill the coffee on her. What was she doing when she spilled the coffee? There could be a debate as to whether one would agree with the lawsuit because I am the type that asks a lot of questions. I could see it if an employee had spilled the coffee on her or something like that, but if she spilled it herself, I don't know. But that was just an example of things. Suing God though, don't know what one expects to get from that.

She went through the drive through they handed her the cup of coffee. She proceeded to place the cup between her legs to hold it as she drove off. She hit a bump and the coffee spilled all over her. She said she did not know it was going to be that hot she figured it was going to be lukewarm. She went on to say that if she knew it was going to be hot she would have put it in the cup holder instead.

I do not agree with the lawsuit at all. I have always got hot coffee. If I get lukewarm coffee I send it back for hot coffee.

I do feel bad for her for the areas that she got burned, but I even put my cold sodas in the cup holder so I don't spill anything on me. I could have seen the suit if the person working the window had dropped it on her, maybe, but she was the one that put it between her legs. You know what gets me is that no one ever wants to take resposibility for things like that and they get sue happy. Same with this going on with my son....If he had been in the wrong, then I could understand it. Not that I would be happy about it, but could understand. We have a 6 year old little boy riding his bike out of his drivway into the street, now where is his parents? Kyle could not remember if they were on the porch or not, he said he didn't think so, but could not rememeber. If they weren't, where were they while their child is riding his bike in the front yard into the street? If they were outside, why weren't they keeping a better eye on the child and helping him to watch the road or better yet, keeping him out of the road. I have a 6 year old niece and I know that my brother does not let her play alone in the front yard and watches her like a hawk when she is in the back yard, even though it is fenced in and there are dogs back there. A 6 year old has not business in the street. But these parents do not take any blame for what happened. I had made up my mind that if they try to sue, I am going to go after them for assault on my son. The man put his hands on my son, shoved him against the car and some people pulled him off of my son, so there were witnesses as to this happening. I understand a parent being upset and yes, even angry. I don't begrude that parents this, but after a couple of weeks, they need to look back and read the police report and say to themselves, yes we are still upset and angry, over what happened and at ourselves for not being more alert to what my child was doing. Maybe say that "I am partially to blame for what happened". Heck, even though it wasn't his fault, I know my son blames himself for that little boy getting hurt.

I am just praying for strenghth to get me through everything and to make the right decisions on things.

Ok i'm not sure about this story 2nd... Was Kyle involved in an accident with someone on a bike? DId the little boy dart out in front of him? He hit him with the car? Then the father assaulted Kyle? That's what i gathered in ur post...
Was he ticketed? Obviously not if u say it was not his fault...
And not to scare u but if these parents weren't watching their son u can bet ur bottom dollar they will sue ur insurance company! My oldest daughter was in a auto accident 10 days after she got her license with her best friend and a few others in the car. Her "friend" (yea right) sued us and got money from our insurance company! She was the least hurt of any of the kids, not that any of them were hurt bad just bruised up and cuts n scratches, she had NOTHING! And we even offered to pay all her medical as to not have it on our insurance....
People are just sue happy! Anything for a quick buck....
So sad,
Ang

It is a shame what is going on with your son. The parents need to take responsiblilty for their actions too. Like Goudah said in the other post, your son showed a tremendous amount of responsibilty. Most 18 year olds would have paniced thinking of themselves and fleed the scene. Your son showed his compassion, respect, and honor for others by stopping and immediately checking on the child. I have a 3, 7, and 9 year old and I do nopt even let the play anywhere near the road. If they even get within 50 feet of the road I am screaming at them to get back they have gone too far. My three year old though has to stay right by me she is still learning the boundaries and she is too quick for me too catch if she has any lead on me, so she is stuck by my side playing.
