barkada, these pdls only want the bank account information. They honestly don't care who's name is on it, as long as they have the ability to debit it. Sad. You've paid $630 on your $300 loan to B&L. You've paid $630 on your $300 loan to Platinum B. You've paid $810 on your $300 loan to LoanShop. You've paid $270 on your loan to 500 Fast Cash. You've paid $1,350 on your $300 loan to EME Marketing. The only one you TECHNICALLY owe money still is 500 Fash Cash - who is not even licensed/legal to lend. barkada, these guys are robbing you blind. The ONLY way to get this insanity to stop is to close that bank account. I don't know how well that's going to go over with your husband, since it's just in his name. However, that is the only way to get this to stop. You need to cut off the pdls access to the bank account.

barkada...Please come clean and explain the situation to your husband. Your bank account will need to be closed. Please read the info at the top of the page about closing your account. I am going to post the Payday loan laws for Arkansas here (just select your state),

YOu can check to make sure none of them are licensed to lend in your state by going to your state attorney's web site or calling their office. Most states also have an financial department that handles state licensing.

Please be honest with your husband. I did not tell my husband for a very long time and when i finally did it caused a lot of problems. Trust me it is not worth waiting any longer.
Update on my PDL situation....
I want to thank you all for your support I felt so much better getting this stress off my shoulders...I wanted to update you all on what has happened since my last post. My husband did find out..he was so furious for a few days, but then told me it was up to me to find a way to pay them back that it was not coming out of his account or check anymore..well since them we have gotton back taxes and we decided to half it so my half this week has all went to clearing off all these PDL's I call them all and even though I leagally did not owe them all just the one to 500 fastcash..I made a deal to pay each one $200.00 if they agreed to close and mark PIF...I didn't care if it took every penny I had I just wanted closure on this big mess I got my self into. I have only 1 left and it is with 500 Fast cash and I will be done. I will never do this again even if it means eating dirt..LOL. I have been sick over all this.I lost the trust from my husband for now but I plan on showing him I am truely sorry.I had developed a stomach ulcer from all this mess..I have to see a doctor this morning for medication.People this is a wonderful site just hang in there and these people on here will support you when you feel like no one will.
God Bless You All: B

barkada, I think you should still close the account that was used for the PDL's. If you search on here you can find multiple times where a PDL company still hit the account for more money when the owner of the account thought it was settled.

I think you need to close it also, just so you are on the safe side. Somehow they will find a way to sneak into it and take more money from you.
