Law Firm Asking Me To Pay Charges That VISA Reversed

Two years ago I purchased an elliptical trainer from NordicTrack (ICON Fitness) at my local mall. When I researched the unit online, the nordic track site proudly proclaimed that I had 30 days to return the item for a full refund. When I returned the item, ICON refunded me the original purchase price, minus delivery charges, a 15% restocking fee and a charge to pick the item up at my home. They claimed the stores do not have the same policies as the website.
I disputed the 15% restocking fee and the additional pickup fee (i didn't expect the original shipping fee to be refunded) and VISA agreed with me, refunding the money. ICON billed me for the amount VISA refunded and I ignored it.
Two years later (after a move) I have been getting calls from Bennett & Deloney asking for that money. They will provide me with NO paperwork or any other information detailing the claim.
What can I do? Are VISA reversals binding? If so, can I negotiate a lower payment amount than the amount they are claiming? Do they owe me some paperwork?
A negative remark from the initial collection agency appeared on one of my credit reports but I disputed it and it was erased. I'd prefer not to pay, but i don't want a negative remark to go back on my credit report.
Thanks!

Icon deducted this amount from the original purchase price when making the refund. Why it was again billed later? Did you place this query to ICON?
A collection agency is definitely required to give you some papers for the bill they are collecting. This way, you will come to know about the details of the accounts. If there is no paperwork, you won't be sure if the debt actually exists or if your money is going to the right place. Moreover, fdcpa law favors debt validation and you need to urge them to follow the federal law.
If a previous collection agency earlier reported it in your file to which you disputed, I am sure this situation is again repeated. But you need to be pro-active here from now as your credit scores are lowered due to this item.
Talk to the CA as well as ICON and request for the necessary information. Do not pay anything before you get something in writing.
