Need some bank help

They are also saying that since I authroized these charges that there is nothing they can do.

Go to your bank and speak to the manager, he is the only one that can do this and he can access the form on line only, there is a form that is called a Compromise authorization form that the can complete due to fraud and fax it to the fraud department, it will close your account, but you have to open one at the same time. I have JP Morgan Chase.

You may have authorized them initially, but you have the right to withdraw your authorization. I would do as guest suggested and go in to speak to a manager...I dealt with the manager only at my bank and was able to get everything taken care of, she was very helpful.

I used to bank with them as well and also in WI. What you need to do is get the manager in the office alone so no one else can hear and tell them that you did sign up for the internet payday loans and now you have found out that they are illegal if they do not hold a valid license in this state. I closed my account with a neg. balance and they sent everything back that went through and didn't charge me any more overdraft fees. Then i could go back and pay them what I could to bring my account to a zero balance and close it for good. But also being from WI you can get them to reverse the charges. The lady that I work with at the DFI told me that and she would have handled it but it was too late. I think you have 3 months. You can contact the DFI and they will help you through the internet loan mess and tell you which ones are legal and which ones are not and she can also help you with the bank mess. I am actually filing for Chapter 128 and needed to close my account. But thanks for the info. My mom used to work for them and she is loaning me the money to get my account postive and closing the account for me. (She is also on the account). Grrr...I just go so fustrated when they would not help me.

I know they were pretty bad. Plus living in a very small town they all knew me, so I had to hold my head high during this. It was hard because I knew what they were saying about me :x But once they knew the state was involved they shut up and did what I asked. But now I have found a wonderful credit union because of all of this. so some good came out of this mess.

Thanks! I love my new bank. I am banking with Citizen State Bank. They are all about security and about helping me out. The personal banker told me that I could come and talk to her if I ever had a problem.

Thank god this is going to be a thing of the past.

Someone suggested to me that if i have a hard time stopping payments on my acct just say you lost your checkbook, this should do something, i would imagine. I know it was preauthorized, but its worth a shot, im desperate right now and even looking into getting a loan to consolodate all of my pdl into one but it would be with cashcall, at least i would be saving alot of $$ each month and not dealing with the morons of illegals any more.

I just got off the phone with my mom. I had something pending so there is enough money for that to clear and if there in nothing pending tomorrow they are going to close it tomorrow. Yeah!! There is not going to be anything pending unless those sneaky payday loan company pend a day early but I do not think so. Otherwise it would comeout right away at midnight. Yahoo!!! If it cannout be closed than I will just disputed all of the charges.

Do not use cashcall. Do a search on here about them and you will see that you don't want to deal with them. They can be even worse than the illegal ones.

I have awesome news! They let me close my account today. It feels awesome to finally control my money.
