Out of curiosity, I went in there this morning and cashed a check from a friend, they were so damn pleasant it was disturbing and I keep tabs on them from time to time, they bought out a pile of local banks in MD & PA.

Any ideas?

Happy Monday.. argh. :!:

My chex is for NSF activity, dated 4 years ago (no fraud) It was from a closed account, that had a debit card transaction post 6 months after I closed the account

PNC: No!
National City : No! & and was treated like a criminal
Dollar Bank : Yes!!!! They are a smaller local bank.

I lived in Pittsburgh for many years and I am in banking here in SC. PNC, National City are too big to care anymore. I worked for Citizens Bank and loved it (left for personal reasons). The smaller banks are okay but they lack certain features and benefits. I am in SC now, so PNC is not around here. Just beware of PNC, they are nice at first but will care less in the near future.

If you are eligible for this credit union, you may want to consider it as a back up account etc... it is an excellent one there in SC.
