Hello I have been turned down by several banks because of my checksystem report. I have heard that i should consider an out of state credit union that has shared branches that i can go to in my area (I live in St. LOuis MO.) but every credit union i look at has membership regulations which do not allow me to apply. So how do i do this?

yes, Thank You. I have looked at this already. I thought I saw on chexvictims website where someone suggested an out of state credit union that has shared branches in my area but i'm confused by this because i have never seen out of state credit unions that don't have specific membership requirements.

a lot of the credit unions listed only accept memebers in the st louis county area, I am in the city. and some of them will not take me because i cannot pay the balance of which i owe the bank right away, i send them payments. I really don't want to bank online somewhere and have to mail in deposits.

Do you know what your report says? Does it show fraud? Who is the reporting bank(s)? Most of the out of state credit unions that offer shared branching are no longer taking most out of state applications. Apparently they were getting far too many new applications for out of state customers so they have become very strict.
