HELP..Chex will not send proof!

Ok chex system verified a item on my chex report. I used 2nd dispute letter asking for proof such as paperwork/signatures etc..all the good stuff to prove that the account is mine..
Chex sends me back a letter stating that I should contact the bank to get more info and proof. They listed the bank number and address.
They also said if I wanted to dispute again under FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT, then i should provide a police report.
I never told them the account was not mind, I told them i wanted proof it was mine and I wanted it reported correctly if so.
All my correspondence has been sent by fax..

If it's a collection agency, then you can directly send them a debt validation letter through certified mail, requesting a return receipt.
