DMP cannot verify BOA account that was sent to ChexSystem 4 yrs ago

I am currently in a DMP that is in the process of sending proposals to the creditors that I have past due accounts with.
Unfortunately, they are having a problem verifying a BOA account that was sent to chex systems about 4 years ago. BOA is stating that the account never existed even though I have provided statements to my DMP from BOA with the account number on it.
What can be done about this entry into CHex Systems and how can I get BOA to send me something in writing indicating that this account cannot be located

Has the account been sold off? If so, it is probably not in the
Has the account been sold off? If so, it is probably not in their system anymore. Can you match anything up with it on the credit report?
