I am in chexsystems and one of the CA's i am paying off is related to a B of A account...I contacted B of A and they verified that that that CA had the account and i had to deal with them. My question is once i pay off that CA what will be reflected in my chex report...will it say i still owe that amount to B of A?

It SHOULD reflect "paid" but it's up to BOFA to update Chexsyste
It SHOULD reflect "paid" but it's up to BOFA to update Chexsystems... and in order for BOFA to do that, the CA must tell BOFA that the account was paid in full. I'd get everything in writting!
And it stays 5 years. Most banks will approve a checking account as long as the account says "paid" and depending on how long it has been. Check Mca's sticky up at the top regarding Non chexsystems banks.
