Yes, there are few banks which don't use Chexsystem. So you can have an account with them if you have issues with Chexsystem. If you let us know your state's name, we can suggest some second chance banks in your state.

I live in Indiana. I've tried a second chance bank and they won't issue a debit card on their second chance accounts. I really don't need a checkbook. I have an AccountNow debit card now that I use to pay bills and get my payroll but I get paid bonuses and rent money from my roommate with checks and need a way to deposit those checks without having to hunt down the banks they were written on. I'd rather just mail them in or be able to deposit them at an ATM. Honestly after what I've read about Chexsystem I'd much rather have a bank that doesn't use them or just ignores them altogether.

I just took a look at them and the only drawback I see is all their banks are located inside Walmarts around here and I hate that place with a passion you don't even understand. I have long sworn off going near one.
I'm going to try Heritage Federal Credit Union on the next day banks are open. This is one my roommate uses and I usually have to go there to cash his checks and I see on their website that they offer second chance checking and it comes with a debit card. That way I probably won't need to order checks at all as long as they have an online checkbook. If that doesn't work I'll just go with one of those two online banks that guarantee an account. I've also been told Integra and Old National will open a free account if the Chexsystems report is more than a year old, which it is, but I don't know if I want to keep trying and being denied. I tried Old National and been denied before, but that was right after the Chexsystems incident.
What's really driving me to do this is I got paid a bonus from work with a check and it was written off BoA, which is not around here, and I had to take it to a grocery store to cash and they charged me $24 to cash it. If it weren't for that, I'd be completely happy with my little debit card.
