National City/PNC

My dilema all began w/illegal payday loans, mentioned in my previous posts. So now less than two months later, National City has charged off my account and reported me to Chexsystems, even though I went to the bank, talked to a branch manger and agreed to continue a portion of my direct deposit to my account twice a month until my negative balance was paid in full. My account with the overdraft fees and $8.95 continous overdraft fee the bank charged, plus the $30 fee to stop each unauthorized ACH withdrawals future withdrawals, my account got to be just under -$1000. I had paid them down to -$300, with a pending direct deposit to pay off the balance

I spoke with loss & prevention @ the bank, and they said when I pay the balance off, I can open a new account with them, but I seriously doubt it. Even, after explaining that a direct deposit was scheduled for tomorrow, I was told it was nothing they could do and the direct deposit would not post, is this correct? I was also told since National City was bought out by PNC, they could no longer reopen accounts with direct deposit transactions. I was told bring the money in to a branch. My payroll dept. states it's too late to stop the direct deposit for tomorrow, I would have to request the ACH to be recalled and it would take 5 days to receive a paper check.

Can I fight this with Chexsystems or the bank corporate office? A branch manager did state she would note my account when I went in. Any suggestions on what to do. I ordered my Chexsystem report.

The only glimmer of hope is that I have two accounts with a credit union and two money market accounts that I keep for petty savings.

I am sorry I missed this post until just now. I am wondering if you have had any luck resolving this yet? Anyone can dispute with chexsystems, that is your right since chexsystems is a credit reporting agency.
