Getting fustrated

Like many of you i got into payday loan hell a few years ago. I tried closing my account/putting a freeze on it everything but since it was negiative, the branch manager wouldn't do anything.

I've complained to NCUA (since it was a credit union) they refered me to my financial insutition which in turn said I'd have to go back to the payday lenders. Well one of them said that I signed a contract stating they can go in at any time and collect money. I asked our Financial department if that by signing a contract trumpts the law and they said they don't.

I tried going through my branch manager (again) to get me removed from checksystems since I have proof that I tried closing my account and they wouldn't. They basically said it wasn't their problem.

I've filed with FDIC Yesterday, (though not sure what's that going to complish since it's a credit union) I also sent a letter to the CEO of the company which is probably just going to hand it down to the branch manager, but it's worth a shot.

Who else can I contact? I just want this item removed from my credit reports/check systems, since they wouldn't let close my account, I feel that any oferdrafts are not my responsiability (SP)

Yes my issue has to do with payday loans. Most importantly and the main issue is that I tried to close my account before it got out of hand and was denied that right since it was already negative. I then asked for a hard freeze to be put on my account so that nothing would come though and that I could get the balance back into the positive territory, then close the account so the payday lenders didn????????t have access to it. Once again I was denied that right because it was already negative.

Given these facts, I do believe this is a Department of Financial Institutions matter and not Office of Consumer Affairs. Once again I am asking that Guardian Credit Union remove me from Chex systems as well the credit bureaus. I believe this is a fair request given the circumstances.

I bolded main issue and denied and hard freeze. Maybe now something will get done.
