Chexsystems and TAB Bank
Then I saw TAB Bank on your website. I wasn't sure if this would work because some of the posts were six months or older and I thought they would start using chexsystems. Well I did some research on them and they are a member of FDIC and also a subsidiary of the Flying J Corporation (which is like really big for the trucking industry). I applied to the Bank, called them up, they asked me some verification questions and all I had to do was fax them a copy of my Driver's License, Social Security Card, and current Utility Bill...that's it! Tomorrow they are mailing me my debit card and my checks will be here in 7-10 business days. Whenever you talk to someone on the phone they are real polite and I even registered for Online Banking. As soon as I get my checks I am getting direct deposit.
You guys really know what you are talking about and finally I feel like I'm part of the normal part of society where I don't have to carry cash on me all the time or have one of those "prepaid" debit cards....thanks a lot you guys I am sooo appreciative!!!!

You are very welcome, TAB is an excellent bank and actually considered a " big bank" Many have not heard of it but it is well known more so with the trucking industry. At this time they are not using chexsystems for both persnal and business accounts. Very Good Luck to you!!!

MCA you are the best!! Thanks for all you do...without you I would still be carrying cash and prepaid debit cards which charge more than I need to pay!

I'm glad to hear the word is spreading about TAB. They are truly a godsend, especially if you have the unfortunate luck of having poor credit, and being on Chexsystems at the same time. They will pull a soft hit on your credit only for the purpose of verifying your identity, and if you don't have any credit history, they'll still open an account as long as you fax them your social security card with a drivers license. These days, it's bad enough to be on Chexsystems, but it's even worst when a non-chexsystems bank pulls a hard hit on your credit and decides to shut you out later just for having poor credit - Which does not happen with TAB, they'll give you a chance even with bad credit. Plus with TAB, you can also get a checking account that earns interest, along with a savings account that has decent interest.
TAB is closing accounts
TAB is not only now using chexsystems but they are going through and checking accounts and closing them if you have been reported to chexsystems. It's a nightmare
