Bank of America is closing my account on March 5. I will make my account positive on February 26. Can I close my account before they do?

IMO you can. But you need to clear off the negative dues before you can close it down.

Generally when a bank freezes an account and says they will close it onn a certain fate, they will not allow you to bring it to positive and close the account yourself unless they are saying that the account can stay open if you are willing to pay the fees and keep it current. My guess is that they will close it on the 5th regardless and no you will not be able to close it yourself.
