I did the app. online. Said I was approved (I am on Chex and have not the best credit) and today I received my check card. I haven't funded it yet. I wanted to see first if anyone had good luck with them. I wouldnt want to deposit $100 then have them close it on me.

I am going to revise my answer. You need to contact MCA she has a list of non-chexsystem banks and probably knows about how Wachovia handles chexsystem accounts for people that were on there, but I have one question I have is how long have you been on chexsystem? If it has been 5 years or longer than you shouldn't have to worry, however I would be kind of hesistant to put alot of money in their for awhile because the chances it is high I think for them to close it. I personally don't think they actually investigate until you have deposited the funds in the account.

Other's will be along to advise you further good luck.

It is hard to say with Wachovia, just recently quite a few people have been able to open accounts with them that were closed a short time later. Most of them were later closed due to EWS reports, not chexsystems.

Early Warning Systems ( previously Primary Payment Systems ) is now being used by banks and credit unions the same as chexsystems. Along with other participating organizations, they now share information about potential customers that may be a risk through Identity Check . Identity check distinguishes high-risk individuals from profitable customers the same as chexsystems.

Those wishing to obtain consumer report information should contact their Consumer Call Center at 800-325-7775. From what I have been told it is much easier to get a copy of your report with EWS than it is with Chexsystems. Apparently they will email you a form that you can mail or fax back to them. From what I have been able to tell, if you are reported to chexsystems then chances are good that you are reported to EWS. This seems especially true of those that have a Chexsystems report that has fraud indicated on it.
