They are still a great bank, but I noticed today that I had been double charged for the checks I ordered. I called in and the CSR said it has happened to more than just me. He did remove the charge while I Was on the phone and I am still glad to have this bank. I have my paycheck direct deposited in it too. Just watch for that double charge.


So far though TAB is really working for many people out there

I decided to give TAB Bank a try after reading about them on this site. I faxed an application Monday 11/26 about 3pm. I called them Tues about 11am to see if they received my fax and to my surprise the lady said they just sent a letter to me saying they couldn't verify my identity. I was prepared to hear "sorry we cant help you". To my surprise she put my on hold came back and said I need to ask you some questions. I answered about 5 multiple choice questions only I would know, after the last one she said .."OK we are all set. How would you like to fund your account".

I faxed my app. yesterday. Called today. Did my deposit over the phone and was given my account # and routing # over the phone and I just signed up for online banking my deposit is already in there. They said my card would be sent out tomorrow. This seems like a great bank to deal with!
