For some reason, I cannot find my SS card, and my attorney asked for it, do you think it's acceptable to bring in a SS monthly statement? Thanks

You will need to prove your Social Security number to the trustee when you have your creditors meeting. Following is the list that our attorney gave us of acceptable documents: Social Security Card, Medical Insurance Card (although I don't think most of them use the SS number anymore), W-2 Form for the most recent tax year, Pay stub, IRS Form 1099, Social Security Administration Report, any other official document that has your name and Social Security number on it.

Hope that helps! Good luck!
