Automatic stay

I know bankruptcy can stop any lawsuits or judgements, but does the automatic stay apply if you had signed a settlement letter that was filed with civil court? Especially if the letter stated that all cease and desist letters must stop.

if your debt in question was included in the
bankruptcy.the stay would apply to that as well.
the creditor would have to show up to the meeting
of creditors and state there case.
