my mom co signed a credit card with me she then ran the card up without telling me and stopped paying it i looked on my credit report and saw it.i need help on what to do its going to affect me getting a job i need help.also she want to file bankruptcy and list the account i was wondering how that would affect my credit thank you a lot.

If your mom files bankruptcy, it won't affect your credit. However, if you and your mom are both responsible for the credit card, then if she includes it in her bankruptcy, the credit card company will still be able to try to collect the balance from you. If the account is delinquent, then that will affect your credit. Some employers do check your credit report before they hire you and some do not.
