Can you tell me if you have to request a bankruptcy to be taken off after 10 years
It SHOULD automatically fall off. If it doesn't just dispute it
It SHOULD automatically fall off. If it doesn't just dispute it as past reporting date with the credit reporting agencies and it should then come off.

How long has it been on there? I do know that a bankruptcy will stay on your report for 10 years, but I'm not sure if it is 10 years from the date you filed, or 10 years from the discharge date.
Chapter 13 will stay on for 7 years, Chapter 7, for 10 years. B
Chapter 13 will stay on for 7 years, Chapter 7, for 10 years. Both from the date of filing (date of 1st delinquency, in essence).
