Chapter 13 BK Questions:

I have a few other questions I need answered if anyone can help. Thanks! Kristi

1. What will happen if you get a very small payday loan to help with bills before your BK has been concluded if you will be able to pay it back in full?

2. Is your checking accounts monitored in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy?

3. I was told that I would have to pay a fee to the trustee before getting any new credit. Does this apply to things like a home phone or internet?

You are not serious about getting another pay day loan. I hope not

Yes, PLEASE do not. I was so tempted to get a payday loan yesterday and even filled out some initial paperwork, but after reading some of the scary stuff on this site, I changed my mind. Also, since you're already in the process of bankruptcy, I would think that your checking accounts would be monitored, and that any new debts you incur would either interfere with your bankruptcy, or not be included should something go wrong. I just would NOT do it!
