What will happen to my credit utilisation after filing bankruptcy? Will it shoot up?

Chances are high that your utilization ratio will shoot up after discharging your debts through bankruptcy. When you pay off all your debts, your overall credit utilization ratio reaches the magic figure 0. This helps to boost your credit score.

I agree on it with David. Most of the time, it helps to increase the score. However, what is the amount of your debt? Is it too high?

Yes, you have to pay off these debts to lower your credit utilization ratio.
